CreedPimp: PLEASE GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO BRYAN(thats me!!!)and all the Creed fans in Cookeville,Tn!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scott Phillips: I'd be happy to! Wassup to Bryan and friends in Cookeville TN!
* * *
Dookie: A friend and I were at the SNL dress rehearsal last night and LOVED your performance. Which performance did you you feel was your best: Rehearsal or Live? P.S. I was also lucky enough to be at the K-Rock show on Friday and thought your acoustic peformance was awesome. Looking forward to seeing you guys peform a full live show!!! THANKS FOR THE MUSIC!
SP: We thought both performances were really good, and as funny as it may sound we were more nervous for the dress rehearsal than the actual show.
* * *
Erin: About the KROCK performance on Friday How come no love from the bongos, man? Just curious lol Was great meeting you Take care
SP: We as a band felt it would be simpler to go in and just have Scott and Mark perform. It was something that we hadn't rehearsed and felt that if we were going to use bongos, we should also use acoustic bass and hadn't practiced it with Brett.

wound-up: Has this questioning changed your mind.... of your view of your fan base. Do you feel more exposed or closer with us fans? Thank-you so much for this it has been long awaited. You guys bring out a alot of emotion in people and to say thanks and interact with all of you is very special. Thank-you. Leslie
SP: It's something that the three of us have all really enjoyed over the last week, and feel that its definitely brought us closer with our fans.
* * *
CreedinmySoul: Do you have any favorited 80's hair bands?
SP: I hate to admit it, but of course I do. Probably the first and foremost would have to be Guns N Roses. And Whitesnake. Last but not least, and I really hate to admit this, but I really like Winger.
* * *
Erin: Hey Flip...I asked this in the "Stapp forum"... so I am gonna ask here, and the next time Mark comes on, he get the same question Do you have any Christmas Traditions in your family? and are you planning to start any with your new wife? Peace
SP: With my family, our tradition was always travel. We never spent Christmas at home--always with my grandparents. With my wife, we make it a tradition to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation right before Christmas.
* * *
Sandie: PLEASE SAY HI TO ME i am so about to cry here... i cant wait till tomorrow.. i might not sleep... uuuuugggghhh... please say hi or something to help me
SP: Alright Sandie....everyting's gonna be fine. You can probably find a store that will start selling the album at midnight and we hope you enjoy it. If not, you can certainly get it tomorrow. And just remember, we love ya!
* * *
tally: First, thank you for Bullets!! It's one of my faves on the CD!! So good to hear it live.... Second, the atmosphere of SNL is obviously different than a concert arena, so how do you get in the mindset to perform in a setting like that with the same energy/passion that you do in a concert arena??
SP: For this particular performance, it had been so long since we had performed in front of an audience together that no matter where we were we would have put everything we had into it. But under those circumstances normally, we get energized because we know our fans are watching us.
* * *
Tina: OHi Scotty !!! My Question is: Will Creed do some TV appearances here on the German TV ??! I would love to see it!!!
SP: Plans right now have us in Europe in March, and I'm almost positive that we'll be doing some TV appearances. However, if not, we'll definitely be doing our shows there all throughout Germany.

lola1: Your tattoo sleeve I noticed it the other night. Have you always had that?? I like it...
The woman I've got on my left arm I've now had for about 2 years, but the one on my right arm (which is a work in progress) is about 9 months old.
* * *
spiritdancer: I have an idea for an opening band. Have every local radio station do a "Battle of the Bands" Have them pick one out of five local bands be the top winner and let them do a 20-30 minutes set. Then the touring Open up before you go on. Gives the local bands an opportunity to be heard. Just a thought. Bye the way do you need a driver when you come to Vegas in December?
SP: I love the idea. Maybe its something we could work into the tour sometime next year.
* * *
Amers_NM: I just won the new cd..... and it ROCKS!!!! It seems I was one of the lucky ones to get it hear it a day earily! I just want to congratulate you guys for doing it again! I will be listening to this one none stop for sure! Scott, what was your favorite song to record?.. and which will be your favorite to perform? Again, congrats! You all rock and I can't wait to see you in concert! Forever Rockin to Creed! Amy
SP: Thanks for all the kind words! All of it was fun to record, but probably my favorite was "Who's Got My Back?" My favorite to perform I think is gonna be Bullets. We've only done it once in front of a crowd and it was the best feeling I've had in a long time.
* * *
Ally: who are your role models besides your parents
SP: I don't really have any specific role models aside from my parents, but I find a lot of good qualities in many different people that I look up to.
* * *
CreedRawksMyWorld: Creed and POD are my 2 most favoritest bands and I was just wondering if you've heard their latest cd or if you're a fan. the styles are a bit different but i think a Creed/POD show would be AWESOME!!
SP: I am a fan. I don't have the current CD, but I actually met some of the guys earlier this year in Los Angeles and they seem like great guys.
* * *
HigherOne: are you disappointed that you won't be in Florida to share it with your family? Do you have friends in Dallas you'll be able to visit? Will April go with you?
SP: Our plans are to try to get back to Florida as soon as possible and whatever day that may be will be the day we celebrate Thanksgiving with our families.
* * *
skimray: Just want to say that doing this is making A LOT of people happy... it humanizes you guys and I guess it makes some of us feel important and recognized when a question of ours is answered personally.... doesn't take much to make A LOT of people happy.. please keep it up....:p thanks
SP: It is something we're going to try to do as much as possible, though once our tour schedule starts its going to be tough to do on a regular basis.
* * *
kat23: Just wondering if you or any of the others were in to hockey. My husband and I love it (well my husband more than me!!) If so, which teams? We are die hard BLUES fans. St.Louis is a great sports city. Oh, the RAMS are great too!!!
SP: Being from Florida, I can't say hockey is highest on the priority list, but we love any and all kinds of sports, and the only hockey team that I can say that I was a fan of would be the Philadelphia Flyers because a close friend was a huge fan.
* * *
Tortured spirit: Can you play any other instruments besides the drums?
SP: Actually, my first instrument was piano and then moved to sax. Went from sax to the drums and on the side, worked on guitar a bit.
* * *
Jessica: I first became a Creed fan through Brett Hestla touring with the band when brian left. I love that man more than anything (great music, lyrics....incredible looks...) and when i found out he was "taken" that kinda... sucked. So i have one question for my favorite Creed member... what is brett really like?? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
SP: He's probably the funniest guy you'll ever meet, and a good ole' Southern boy just like the rest of us.
* * *
Sami: Flip on MTV you said That you are not one for the lime light. Do you get nervous at all still in front of crowds? Thanks for the music Flip!
SP: No, not really. I've gotten used to it over the years. Its not that I'm scared of the limelight, I'm just not overly concerned with it.
* * *
Tortured spirit: To Scott Phillips, If you had your choice of Hiring extra Musicians to take on the road with you, which instruments would you most like to add to your line up? In the studio, you guys sometimes add more instruments to your songs to make them sound better, but would you prefer it just be you, Scott and Mark, and Brett since he is touring with you guys?
SP: We've actually talked about adding a touring keyboard/piano player, but we really like it being the four of us and as long as the fans don't feel let down by a 4 man Creed performance, then we probably won't add anybody.
* * *
Debi: Do you have any city on the upcoming tour that you are looking forward to? How was New York City?
SP: It's been so long since we've been on tour, we're looking forward to every city. New York was fantastic but definitely a little different.
* * *
the1one1: Hi scott! I just want to start by saying what a great inspiration you, Mark and Scott are! Creed has alot of fans here in Iceland! My question is simple...i think... Are you gonna come tour Europe? and if you are then you should make a stop in Iceland Thanks in advance!!!!
SP: Now that we know we have fans there, we'll definitely look into it. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the new CD.
* * *
Dingus Foam: hey Scott, i have always wondered if you or the other guys liked any Ronnie James Dio. Although on the surface your music does not sound a lot like his, i find both bands to be inspirational to me. do any of y'all like him? Thanks!
SP: One of my first videos that I can remember was Like a Rainbow in the Dark, so I can't say that I'm a huge fan but we definitely turn it up whenever a Dio song comes on the radio.
* * *
Lisa: Scott, Do you feel Weathered is alot different compared to HC, It has a totally different feel to it, was that done on purpose? I can't wait to buy it tomorrow, we will all be out supporting you, especially me and my Creed Sista Karen, Love ya, Lisa
SP: We don't feel that WEATHERED is too much different than HC is, but that it's a natural progression from HC. The same as HC was a natural progression from MOP.
* * *
Centauri: Would you allow some "musically inclined" fans to come play with you guys on stage during one song in a concert?
SP: Sure. If you could sneak past our security
* * *
Melissa: Hmmm....sooooo very original, eh? So...yeah. I've been a fan for a little over a year now, and I was just wondering what it's like to be in an extremely huge band. It seems that when I became a fan, Creed wasn't really all that "in demand." Things have obviously changed since then, and you all are in the spotlight A LOT more than before. Don't feel pressured to answer seeing as someone has probably already asked that question. I've been gone for a week in Arizona and this is my first post here Oh...and why are you soooo quiet in interviews and such? Ok....I think I'm done now, lol.
SP: It's everyting I imagined and then some, as far as the success of the band is concerned. Generally, Scott S. has a lot to say and I interject when I feel it necessary but normally, he's conveying all of our thoughts in what he says. Except when he says he's a better golfer than me!
* * *
Dogma: Scottie...ever been to Ireland?
SP: Not yet, but definitely looking forward to the day we do get to go.
* * *
Guenevere: Scott, I was wondering which video shoot you enjoyed the most? Your part in "What If" looked lots more fun than some of the others
SP: I'd have to agree with you there on What if! However, the My Sacrifice video has been the most relaxing shoot we've had and we're looking forward to a lot more like that.
* * *
sweetLTLrocker: How were you in high school?? I have been wondering that for awhile...so what kind of teenager were you? Today in english i used "Never Die" for my speech. And of course i'm dragging my brother to drive me to Best Buy after school to get the new cd...i can't WAIT!! Thanks for doing this Flip
SP: I was a pretty normal kid with pretty good grades. I didn't study as much as I should have, but I still managed to get by with a decent average. I hope you enjoy the CD!
* * *
Michael Markulin: What is your advice for someone playing a show for the first time???,....just got into a local band for guitarist,.....want to bring them that creed sound from my heavy influence!!!!!! advice so i dont screw up? thanks scott!
SP: Have complete confidence in yourself. Know that there are a lot of people in the audience that are there to enjoy you, so give it all you got and the most important thing is to have fun no matter what.
* * *
HigherOne: want to know: would you ever pose nude or semi nude for playgirl - lol - i can't believe i'm asking this
SP: Haven't given it much thought. I'll get back to on that one...
* * *
Ally: do you guys ever get tired of each other when your on tour and if so how do you solve it
SP: We're like brothers, we love each other to death. But 24 hours a day is a bit much to hang out with somebody. Normally during the course of each day, we find our own things to get involved with.
* * *
Lisa: Scott, Just curious if you saved any material that didn't make this CD for the next one, and also any plans when will that be? Keep rocking, and see you on tour, I can't wait!!!
SP: There's always ideas floating around, but plans for the next CD haven't really even been thought of yet. Enjoy this one for a little while!
* * *
Erin: new album, new tour, new songs,.....what old ones are going to be replaced by songs from Weathered? or will you guys extend your set? It's fairly clear that some songs will remain no matter what......it's just curiosity. Thanks.
SP: We are looking at extending the set to fit in as many songs as possible. We'll probably play 5 or 6 songs of each of the first 2 albums, and then as many as possible from WEATHERED.
